Where has the time GONE?!
The Kitchen – and it’s GRAND REVEAL – already feels like years ago, even though it was just back at the end of June. And yes, I still love it AND love cooking in it!
Although, once it was done, it was more or less ‘taken away’ from me LOL. The Kid started cooking dinner parties for him and his closest ‘20 friends’ over the summer on his ONE AND ONLY day off each week, and it would take so long for him to clean up afterwards that it was almost the next Monday again. But, I got my few chances…
I was honoured to work with Stong’s Market, BC Greenhouse (recipes coming!), Midland Appliances and Caliber Appliance over the summer and can’t wait to have all the goodies released! I’m excited to start up IGTV’s again soon and continue teaching you all everything I’m learning as we hang out in the Home Kitchen.
What I HAVE been writing behind the scenes is the final chapters of ‘a story of belonging’ – 50 chapters of my first 50 years in my journey of Food & Kitchens. Posting as soon as I catch up on the recipes haha so who knows how long that will take – but I don’t suppose I’m in a rush. Since finally making it to 50 I have a lot to reflect on…
Mid-summer I was off to Calgary and Kelowna, had a ton of 50th Bday celebrations (!), then took off for a month in Europe so I have a LOT of writing to catch up on now that I’m finally back.
I can’t wait to share the past 3 months with you all, so stay tuned!
